Peas

Jacob has started solids!!!  We were so excited to give him his first bite of baby food!  Carter chose to start him with peas.

Jacob was not a fan of peas.  He definitely takes after me in that department.

Jacob's 6 Months Today

• 7:00 am ~ Wakes up and gets dressed

• 8:00 am ~ Cereal/Breakfast
• 8:15 am ~ Play time
• 9:00 am ~ Morning nap (2 hours)
• 11:00 am ~ Drinks 6-8 ounces
• 11:15 am ~ Play time
• 1:00 pm ~ Cereal/Lunch
• 1:30 pm ~ Play time
• 2:00 pm ~ Afternoon nap (2 hours)
• 4:00 pm ~ Drinks 6-8 ounces

• 6:30 pm ~ 1 jar of baby food/Dinner
• 6:45 pm ~ Bath time

**Jacob is on a baby-led schedule, we let Jacob tell us what he needs and when.  He has put himself on the routine above, however it can vary day to day.

Today at Jacob's 6 month check-up we were given the go ahead to start baby food!  Stay tuned for lots of cute pictures and video of our food adventures!

Uh Oh!

We're in trouble now!  Our little Jakey is already up on his hands and knees and starting to rock back and forth.  He's trying so hard to keep up with big brother, Carter.

Bros

I love nothing more than snapping the sweet moments between my boys.  Their love continues to amaze me daily!

First Day of 1st Grade

Carter is a FIRST GRADER!  Can you believe it?  After walking him to his classroom Ben and I discussed how fast time is passing us by.  

Carter had an awesome first day of school!  I picked him up over an hour ago and I'm still hearing about all the exciting things that happened today!
