A couple days ago Ben and Pa took Mason and Carter 'camping'. They didn't really camp since it was too cold, but the boys kept calling it 'camping'. From what I hear, they all had so much fun! Here's a collage of some of the pictures they took during their trip...

Carter's Message From Santa
Carter got an email from Santa today! He was so cute watching his message from Santa. He asked me if Santa could see him, I told him Santa's always watching him. It was so cute because every time Santa asked Carter a question, he answered him. Carter was completely mesmerized by Santa's message. It was really fun sharing that experience with Carter!

I, of course snapped a few pictures of him watching his message from Santa :)

Carter's Christmas Performance
Tonight was Carter's Christmas Performance at school! For the past couple weeks I've been asking him what songs he's going to sing. He told me it was a surprise. It was well worth the wait....he was so cute!

Please excuse the shaky camera, it was standing room only. I had to record over a bunch of heads...not so easy when you're short :)

Santa
I had a surprise for Carter when I picked Carter up from school today.....SANTA!!!! He was so excited! When we got in line, he saw Santa from a distance, he could hardly contain himself! First he just stood there in awe. Then he kept saying, "I can't believe it's really Santa." I loved watching his face light up, it brought back so many memories from when I was a kid and how truly exciting visiting Santa was!
After we finished visiting Santa we went to the pet store. We asked if we could play with a puppy in one of the rooms. Carter and the puppy were so cute and playful with each other. :)

Conversations With Carter
- Carter's argument for going outside by himself, "God is with me, he'll take care of me." How do you argue with that?
- When I asked Carter why he was pushing on my stomach he said, "I'm scooting your insides over to make room for a baby." Think he's trying to tell me something?
- Before I left the house to visit my brother, Keith in the hospital Carter came up to me and gave me a kiss and a hug. He said, "Give them to Uncle Keith. That`ll make him feel better." He`s such a sweetie!
- While dropping Carter off at preschool he said to me, "Mommy, I think I'm going to turn into an ice cube." Brrr....It's cold out there!
- When I asked Carter why he's running around the house he said, "So I can see how fast my heart beats."

Christmas Decorations
Today my Aunt Sharon came over. She brought some ornaments with her that she wanted to pass down to us. Carter, Aunt Sharon and I decorated the tree inside, while Ben put up the lights outside. We were surprised that we were able to put so many ornaments on our tree :) I love looking at our tree, it's absolutely beautiful!
I love how every time I walk into the living room I see Carter checking out the ornaments on the tree....he tells me every time that he loves how beautiful our tree is this year! What's funny about that is, Aunt Sharon told me that's what I used to do when I was at her house during the holidays. Still to this day, I love Christmas ornaments!
By the end of the day our house was fully decorated and felt so warm and cheery!
I think we'll make this a new tradition....decorating the tree with Aunt Sharon! We had so much fun making memories with my favorite aunt :)

It's Nerf or Nothing....Nerf!
Carter was playing with his Nerf gun this afternoon and kept saying, "It's Nerf or nothing...Nerf!" Then he'd go around and shoot his gun. Like father, like son! :)
