Merry Christmas!

Carter was sooo excited Christmas morning!  He loved all his presents!

Later on we went over to Mimi and Pa's house to spend Christmas with them!  My Aunt Sharon also joined us yesterday and today...that was so nice to spend the holidays with her...I haven't done that since I was a kid :)

Thanks Mimi and Pa!!!

Our pictures around the Christmas Tree...

Then we had so much fun teaching Carter to ride his bike!

Then before we knew it...he was doing it all on his own!!!

Christmas Eve!

We had such a fun Christmas Eve!  We celebrated the day at our house.  I cooked my first big turkey dinner..it turned out wonderfully!

My first turkey!

It has become a traditon that every year Mimi gives Carter new Christmas Jammies.  He was so excited to open a present on Christmas Eve!

Then later on we threw some reindeer food out for Santa's reindeer!

Carter couldn't wait to show everyone his performance!  He practiced for the past couple of days!

After everyone left we settled in for the night...but not before leaving out some milk and cookies for Santa!

Snug as a bug...now Santa can come!!!

Cookies and a Show!

Today Carter and I baked Sand Tarts, the recipe has been in my family for many generations.  I had so much fun sharing an old family tradition with my own son.

Then later Carter did his "performance"...he's been practicing all morning!

Carter's 4 Years and 2 Months Today!

Another month has gone by already...it sure goes by fast!  Today Carter and I went to Busy Bodies.  He thinks it's really fun when I'm able to go in the room with him during Open Studio.  He loves playing and showing me all the new things he's learned to do!

"Where's My Hot Cocoa?"

On Saturday we went to Martha's for Rozlyn's slumber party.  Carter had a ton of fun, even though there weren't any boys there.  Ben kept telling him how lucky he was to go to a slumber party full of "older women"...don't think Carter got the joke though :)

During the party the girls (and Carter) were watching Polar Express.  Martha captured the girls singing...and Carter asking for his hot cocoa.  When Martha started making the hot cocoa the girls started singing, so she grabbed her camera to capture the moment.  In the meantime, little Carter wasn't interested in singing, just where his hot cocoa was!  It was really funny, we're still laughing about it :)
