Rattle Snake!!!

Today Carter and I went to the White Tanks with our playgroup!  We had so much fun!  First, the kids played on the playground.  Carter's friend, Austin showed him how to climb the slide!  Carter was so proud of himself (and so was I) once he mastered the slide climbing!

On our hike up to the waterfall we came across a rattle snake (a speckled rattle snake to be exact)!  The kids were a little ways ahead of us when we heard the snake's rattle.  We told them to come back to us and that the snake just wanted to cross the trail.  After it was safe we continued on with our hike.  That was both mine and Carter's first time seeing a rattle snake (in the wild)....SCARY!!!  I was so proud of Carter for the way he handled the scary encounter.  Ben and Leo have told Carter lots of times how to react if he ever came across a rattle snake...he did exactly what they told him to do...he's such a brave little guy!

Swimming in March???

Only in Arizona! 

Today we went to a pool birthday party (the pool was heated)!  It was still a little too cold to swim in the pool...however the spa was like bath water!  Carter had so much fun in the spa...he especially liked that it was shallow and warm!  :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had such a great day!  We headed out to the White Tanks again and hung out with Martha and her girls.  The kids had fun playing in the sand and hiking up to the waterfall!

Then Carter and I headed home so we could get ready for dinner at our house!  I made corned beef and cabbage for the 1st time (wasn't too bad if I do say so myself) and had Aunt Sharon, Mimi and Pa over for dinner!  It was tons of fun!

Cool Tricks!

Tonight Carter wanted me to grab my camera and video tape his cool tricks! He's such a funny little guy!

Bubbles, Bubbles and More Bubbles!

Everyone loves bubbles around here...even Rommel :)  I took some pictures of my guys blowing bubbles this morning...I can't decide who looks like they're having more fun!
