Carter's 3 Years and 8 Months Today!

Our little guy is already 3 years and 8 months old...We can't get over the fact that he'll be 4 in only 4 more months...he's growing up way too fast!

Today we went to Color Me Mine with our playgroup. Carter painted a horse for Pa and a picture frame for Daddy (shhh...don't tell them they're for Father's Day). He was so excited to paint Pa a horse...he said he wanted to paint a horse for Pa because Pa's a cowboy :) We put his handprint on Ben's picture frame...it's really cute! We had to leave them there until next Monday...we're anxious to see how they turn out!

After we were finished at Color Me Mine we went next door for pizza...they had a really good lunch special!

Grandma & Grandpa Bought A New Pool!

We went to grandma and grandpa's last night and had a sleepover with Martha and her girls, Rozlyn and Morgan! The kids couldn't wait to break in grandma and grandpa's new pool. They swam on Friday afternoon before we left to come back home...we tried to tire them out before the drive home...it worked :)

Carter's New Baby Troggy!

We set up the 1 gallon fish tank in Carter's room a couple of days ago. He could hardly wait to go pick out a new frog at the pet store. Today I took Carter to Petsmart to pick out his new frog. He was so excited...I think he showed everyone his new froggy! Everyone kept asking Carter what his froggy's name was, Carter said Baby Troggy. Troggy...I love it! Too cute! I'm so proud of him...he's done really well with the frog in his room. Ben and I explained to him that Mommy and Daddy have to help him feed froggy and he can't take froggy out of the tank to hug him (which I could see him trying to do). So far he's fed Troggy his lunch and put him down for a nap...he's a natural :)

Fun in the Sun!

Today we spent the day swimming at my Aunt Pam and Uncle Marty's house! Carter had sooo much fun swimming with his Cousin Lucas! Lucas was especially dizzy after spinning Carter around in the pool...Carter was pretending to be a motor boat :) We were trying to find ways to encourage Carter to put his face in the water and blow bubbles...he's still a little leery of the water.

Tonight Carter couldn't wait to help Ben organize his work truck. He even had to take his tool box and wear his Home Depot apron (is it called an apron when a boy wears it???)
