It's A BOY!!!!

Today we had our 20 week ultrasound! Ben, Carter and Deb went with me to my appointment. Carter was so excited to see his little brother or sister on the ultrasound....and to (of course) find out if he was going to have a brother or a sister :) The ultrasound tech let us know right away that the newest addition to The Martin Family is a BOY!!!!

14 Weeks Pregnant

I'm officially in my 2nd trimester and finally starting to feel better.  I was so sick during the entire first trimester.   I thought it was called morning sickness....not all the time sickness?!?!

I regret not taking more pictures of myself when I look back on my pregnancy with Carter.  So, I promised myself that I would take more progression pictures during my next pregnancy.

Today we went over to Mimi and Pa's.  Carter couldn't wait to show them what he learned during swim lessons.

Jellybean's Ultrasounds

We've had a couple of ultrasounds done so far during my pregnancy.

7/18/11 ~ 9 Weeks....

Carter thinks the baby looks like a "Jellybean" in this picture.  :)

Ben and I heard the heartbeat for the first time during this ultrasound!  It was so exciting....especially since I was only 9 weeks!


8/11/11 ~ 12 Weeks...

Ben, Carter and I went to this appointment.  The doctor wasn't able to find the heartbeat with the doppler, so she used the ultrasound machine to find the heartbeat.  We were so excited to see our little "Jellybean" jumping around the screen!

Carter's First Day of KINDERGARTEN!

Carter's first day of Kindergarten was today!  We're extremely proud of how well he did!  Me on the other hand...not so well.  It didn't really hit me until Ben and I walked out of his classroom, then boom!  Luckily I had Ben there with me and I had work to keep my mind off missing my boy.
