We've taken Jacob to the pediatrician a couple times a week since he was circumcised on February 29th. Jacob was 2 weeks old at his circumcision and his doctor wasn't happy with him not being back up to his birth weight yet. I was nursing and he wasn't thriving (I don't make enough milk) so the doctor had me supplement with an ounce or two of formula after each feeding. I've been supplementing with formula since Monday, March 5th and he's gained 5 ounces since then (they want to see a half ounce to an ounce per day weight gain). Jacob's doctor is very happy with his weight gain. We have another appointment scheduled for this Monday. We're hoping to see another 5 ounce increase so he's back up to his birth weight.

- Friday, February 17, 2012 ~ 6 pounds 9 ounces (midnight weight check in hospital)
- Wednesday, February 29, 2012 ~ 6 pounds 6 ounces (circumcised)
- Friday, March 2, 2012 ~ 6 pounds 7 ounces
- Monday, March 5, 2012 ~ 6 pounds 7 ounces (started supplementing with formula)
- Thursday, March 8, 2012 ~ 6 pounds 12 ounces
