Happy Halloween!

Carter had so much fun Trick-or-Treating tonight with Mimi and Mommy (Daddy and Pa stayed home to pass out candy).  I didn't get too many good pictures of him...everytime I tried to snap a picture he would tell me to stop taking his picture...little stinker...you'd think he'd be used to it by now :)

Deb and I laughed the entire time while trick-or-treating with Carter.  He's hysterical...some of the things he says is like something an adult or a much older child would say...he's so clever!  When we started out tonight he would go up to the person handing out candy and say, trick-or-treat...then he would just stand there and stare at them as if he was waiting for them to hand him even more candy...it was so funny.  After he did this a couple of times I had a little talk with him.  I told him to say trick or treat and after they handed him the candy to say happy Halloween and thank you....then to walk away...he then did much better the rest of the night.  We had so much fun with him this year...I think this is the first year he was excited about Halloween!

I took these pictures the day we bought his costume...he couldn't wait to put it on :)  I'm glad I snapped these pictures since he didn't want to wear his mask tonight.

Today he wanted pictures of him posing with his doggies.

Later I tried to get some pictures of him wearing his Halloween shirt.

Then he tried to steal some of the candy we had out for the trick-or-treaters...

...and couldn't run out the door fast enough to start trick or treating.

Trick-or-Treat!

His loot...his bucket was complety full!

Big muscles...

Stealing candy from Mimi!

We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

Halloween at Busy Bodies!

Carter dressed up in his Ninja Turtle costume and went to Busy Bodies!  He couldn't wait to show all his friends and teachers his Ninja Turtle costume...he spent the past few weeks telling them all about it...now it was time to show them!

Chuckie Cheese!

Carter and I went to Chuckie Cheese today to celebrate his friend's birthday!  He always has a blast playing all the game!

Happy 30th Jessica!

So...I turned the big 30 last Thursday!  My guys wanted to take me out today for my birthday, so we decided to head up to Sedona!  I absolutely LOVE it up there, it's so beautiful!  We had such a nice day!

This was our conversation with Carter on the drive up there...
Mommy and Daddy:  Carter, watch for the red mountains that are coming up pretty soon.
Carter:  The mountains are red?
Mommy and Daddy:  Yep!
Carter:  *Once he saw the mountains*  Oh my gosh, who painted those mountains?
Mommy and Daddy:  God painted the mountains.
Carter:  Wow!

Then we went up to the look out and took some beautiful scenery pictures.  Carter had a lot of fun playing in the fall leaves and talking with all the nice people!

Later, we went back down and walked around the little shops in town.  We had such a nice day!  The perfect way to celebrate my 30th birthday...with my two favorite guys!

Build A Bear (Puppy)!

After Busy Bodies Carter wanted to stop by the mall and "check on Rommel and Buddy puppies".  The petstore at the mall has a black lab puppy and a german shepherd puppy, he calls them Rommel Puppy and Buddy Puppy.  While we were at the mall Carter saw the Build A Bear store and wanted to check it out.  He still had some birthday money left and decided he wanted to spend it on a new stuffed puppy.  He had a blast stuffing his new puppy!  When the man asked him what his new puppy's name was he said, "Brown and White Doggy"...he cracks me up...his other animals names are, Baby Kitty, Baby Doggy, Mommy Kitty, Woof-Woof, etc...could he be anymore original :)

I was happy my phone is able to take pictures since this was his first time making a Build A Bear and I didn't have my digital camera with us...gotta have pictures :)

Time to stuff...

Time to give him a heart...

Time for a bath...

Time to name him...

...and take him home!

Carter loves his new little friend so much! He does so well taking care of him. He even takes him outside to go potty, gives him some of Rommel's food (that Rommel later eats and Carter says his puppy ate), and takes him for a walk! He's taking his new responsibility very seriously...even though he is a stuffed dog :)
